Our Events

Students decorated rocks with Breast Cancer Awareness drawings and we placed the rocks around the school. 

We partnered with planned parenthood to give students the opportunity to create care packages for mothers in need. Care packages included baby socks, diapers, etc. that could help a mother without enough resources to raise a child. 

During service week, we held an origami flower event, where students had the opportunity to create cute flower bouquets out of origami paper and give them to a woman in their life that they are thankful for. 

We held a period product drive with SAPP to gather period products for women who can not access them. We managed to raise a lot of products, over 120!!

In this event, we presented slides on the origin of stereotypes and how harmful it is. In the end, students wrote post-it notes that explained how stereotypes have affected them. 

Students learned about the causes and effects of breast cancer and everyone painted rocks that brought awareness to breast cancer, which we placed around the community. 

Students had the opportunity to learn about important female figures throughout history and then paint tote bags based on what they learned. 

In this event, we presented slides on what the different meanings of flowers were. Then, students could create bouquets based on the meanings and later, they could give it to the women they appreciate. 

In this event, students participated in a Kahoot game where they answered questions based on important female figures in the past. Winner got a box of macarons!

Students had the opportunity to write letters to breast cancer patients while earning service hours. Letters contained heartwarming letters that gave patients at the hospital more hope!!

This was the first time introducing our club, since it was formed recently!! Woohoo!!
